This is a typical version of a simple drawer box. I started making this design in 1977, while I was still an apprentice with Ron DeKok in Madison, WI. The design was suggested to me by the way bandsawn pieces of wood retain their concentric shapes and fit together. This is a compact, safe container for special items, or for casual storage of the keys, pocket change, data cards, and other personal items.
