Rounded Volute

This is a further development of the hinged volute or teardrop series. The sides were a bit thicker than what I usually use for the sides, but the grain was just right. As I was doing the final shaping and smoothing of the form I saw an opportunity to make the sides convex. Most boxes have a simple radius on the edge, this has a counter width diminishing radius the side, sharper where it joins the box, more gradual at the center of the side.
